Earth Hour

Hi, i am back to blogging again.
This week topic is on Earth Hour. What is Earth Hour? hmm, I had the same thought when i saw the topic, then when my teacher show me a video on it, I know what is it. It was actually about everyone turn off the light on a particular day for an hour at 8.30PM.It is held on the 28th of March for this year. I think people are organising this event is because urgent need action for global warming.Earth Hour began in Sydney in 2007, when 2.2 million homes and businesses switched off their lights for one hour. In 2008 the message had grown into a global sustainability movement, with 50 million people switching off their lights. Global landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, Rome’s Colosseum, the Sydney Opera House and the Coca Cola billboard in Times Square all stood in darkness. I am thinking of talking to my mum and said if we could play a part for Earth Hour by telling all our relatives to switch off the light on 28March, 8.30PM. I think my dad would bring us to the sea side to see stars.If you think Earth Hour in another way, it can actually help you save a little money, so if you are not using the lights please turn it off.You think that Earth is really not under threat but think again.... the cutting down of trees, factories producing toxic fumes,the litters and more. All this cause this called GLOBAL WARMING.All of you, please play a part for Earth Hour


My 12th birthday

Today is my 12th birthday, I am so happy because I am older now.
It is on the 13 Mar, Cheryl and Daphne brought me a bottle of folded stars and a DIY(DIY means do it yourself) ring
Acutally, not folded, Cheryl brought the bottle and the strip that is needed to fold the star then she, QingWei and Daphne fold for me.
My dad bought for me the book"Twilight" and "New Moon". I lost the book "Twilight" on the day 2 days before my birthday.
I celebrated it on 12 Mar because my auntie is bring me to karaoke on 13 Mar.
My another aunties bought me the book"Breaking dawn" and my cousin bought "Esclipe".
The book goes in order:"Twilight"-->"New Moon"-->"Esclipe"--> "Breaking Dawn"
I enjoy the present that they had given me, and i had a nice time with my birthday.

Sports Day

Last Friday, we had our sports day.
I start of the day be things as usual, brush teeth, wash up, have breakfast, took bus to school.
Then i meet Jing Ying at the bus stop opposite our school.We meet to walk to the stadium tomorrow. not only the 2 of us, Qing Wei, Clarice and Jing Ying's cousin walk to the stadium with us. We meet at 6.50AM, I was the earliest to reach, the day before sports day was raining ,so i had to walk on the muddy ground. We set off at 7AM because JIng Ying's cousin and Clarice came out of their house only at 6.50AM. Jing Ying father was there too, he was the one that brought us to the stadium. While we was on our way to the stadium, we saw Cheryl Tay waiting Meng Chin outside the condo, NUOVO. Jing Ying actually quarrel with her dad because Jing Ying's dad was walking quite slow. I would never dare to do that with my dad.We reach there at about 7.15AM. I had bought a drink before i go in because we are not allowed to come out and buy drink. i paid $1.70 for a bottle of cold FN orange. Mrs Azhar wasn't there that day because she had a fever. Jing Ying borrowed 30cent from me. We marked attendence ourselves.
We had been cheering for Topaz for a few hours and we got tired. I saw Cheryl Tay, Pak Meng Chin and Nicolette running.I am happy for them. After we had got our refreshments, We played a game named"pass the ball". The rules is very simple, we had to keep a air pump ball passing, there are 2 for every house. We had a few teachers playing with us. We had Miss Angela Lee, Mdm Chang Chih Wei, Mr Alan Tan, the vice-principal, Mrs Num(don't know how to spell), Mdm Ching, Mrs Sharon Yeo, and Mr Ramesh. I sat with Jing Ying then don't what happen to her, she was kind of angry with something, then for no reasons, she hitted my leg, i was so angry that i find another place to sit on my own, the place was around 6.10, then Miki was hungry, i gave her a piece of bread and gave Kirara a bottle of water. After that, we went home.
